The Printer’s proofs for the hard copy edition of Vol 1 have arrived

Front Cover 2Well everyone, the printer’s proofs for the hard copy edition of Volume 1, arrived today! Over the weekend, we will post an updated extract from the re-formated hard copy Edition.  You will then be able to see exactly how we have taken the existing 614 page eBook Edition and created an affordable (i.e. “Concise”) hard copy Edition of just 236 colour pages. Nevertheless, users will get the best out of this reference work, by using both editions concurrently… effectively leveraging the strengths of each format from one to the other.

Right now, we thought that we would just post some images of one of the printer’s proofs, so you can see how the book has been designed with full colour (320gsm) card covers (front and back), with professional grade wireo binding, so that this reference work will open fully flat without breaking the binding.  We hope you like that idea.

I am the "C" component of the "CB" numbering system used in our book called: Metal Uniform Embellishments of the Australian Army, Post 1953 ('QEII Series') Vol 1 (Insignia for Corps and Schools etc). Yep... that's a mouthful and the 614 page eBook is an eyeful to match... with images of the front and back of each item, as well as weights and measures for each, so that badge variants can be reliably distinguished by collectors, dealers, historians, re-enactor groups and enthusiasts anywhere in the world.
