Here is a look at the cover art work for Volume 2

Hello everyone,

Here is a look at the daft front cover for Volume 2 of our series of reference works, on Australian Army metal uniform embellishments, from 1953 to the present day.

As you can see, we’ve been fairly conservative (and predictable), by choosing to feature the insignia set for the Capricornia Regiment (the 42nd Battalion) and the The Royal Melbourne Regiment (the 6th Battalion).

Your feedback on this front cover design is welcome and suggestions for the selection of other insignia for use on the cover design is also very welcome.

I am the "C" component of the "CB" numbering system used in our book called: Metal Uniform Embellishments of the Australian Army, Post 1953 ('QEII Series') Vol 1 (Insignia for Corps and Schools etc). Yep... that's a mouthful and the 614 page eBook is an eyeful to match... with images of the front and back of each item, as well as weights and measures for each, so that badge variants can be reliably distinguished by collectors, dealers, historians, re-enactor groups and enthusiasts anywhere in the world.
